Dr. Mindy Stevens is a Sioux City native, graduating from East High School in 1994. In 1998, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Creighton University in Omaha, NE  and her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002, also from Creighton. After graduate school, Dr. Stevens returned to Sioux City to be near her family and pursue   a career in dentistry. Most recently she began practicing in a new Morningside location.

Sunnybrook Dental was designed to be progressive, relaxing, and functional, Dr. Stevens is committed to making every patient’s dental visit a positive one by providing  a combination of state of the art dental care, cutting edge technology, and modern comforts. 

She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.  She is dedicated to providing her patients with unsurpassed care, by continually upgrading herself and the practice with the latest techniques and approaches to comfortable and personalized dental care.

She consistently and continually makes room in her schedule to help serve children in our community that do not have access to dental care.  A project she is very proud of is the annual Give Kids A Smile event.   She believes it is important to be proactive with oral care and makes special efforts to visit Siouxland schools, educating children on hygiene techniques and oral health..

Dr. Stevens is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Northwest Iowa District Dental  Society, Sioux City Dental Society, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce, and the Sioux City Growth Organization. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband John and their sons Jack and Gus.  They enjoy going to Creighton basketball games, traveling, and going out with friends downtown.

Hi, my name is Missy as the front office coordinator I keep the office running smoothly by scheduling appointments, making financial arrangements and filing insurance claims. I attend continuing education classes to stay on top of the always changing insurance regulations and can always find a way to help patients with their financial needs. My main goal is to make your appointment as non-threatening and easy as possible.

My family and I are originally from Des Moines Iowa, but for the last five years we have been living in Estherville Iowa. We moved to Siouxland this past summer when my husband Chris, who works for Fareway Grocery Stores accepted a positon here. We enjoy spending time with our daughter Sydney and our other four legged child Paddles. We also enjoy boating and spending time outdoors. Hi, my name is Connie.  I have been in the dental profession for 5 years.  I received my training as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from Western Iowa Tech  in 2003 and have been working with Dr. Stevens ever since.  Being a CDA with Dr. Stevens has given me the opportunity to work with great people and improve smiles.  Mindy is a different kind of dentist who is fun to work with.  At this office the patient truly is the focus. 

I have a 17 year old daughter, Elizabeth, who is always involved in something. I love making time to be part of those activities. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, baking, shopping, cross-stitching and spending time with family and friends..

Katrina Donovan, "Katie", was born and raised in Sioux City. She attended Heelan High School graduating in 1998. She graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2003 receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She went on to pursue her dental hygiene degree from Des Moines Area Community College graduating in 2006. Katie maintains a dental hygiene license not only in the state of Iowa but in the state of Nebraska, as well.

As a dental hygienist at Sunnybrook Dental, she is able to promote the utmost care for your oral health. Each person's needs are treated individually with cleanings, x-rays, probings and products that may work best for the individual. She can answer questions you may have about your oral hygiene, gingivitis or periodontitis.

Katie's passion are children and loves introducing them into the dental environment. She promotes dental exams and cleanings by age one. Going to the dentist should be enjoyable and she is there to make sure your children feel that way when they visit.

Katie is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, Iowa Dental Hygienist Association and the Woodbury County Oral Health Task Force. She and her husband, Joe, have one son, James. They enjoy spending time as a family, traveling, music and going out with their friends.

Hi. my name is Morgan. I am a recent graduate of Western Iowa Tech, with an Associates of Applied Science Degree and a Dental Assisting Diploma. Upon graduation I became a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Assistant. Then I received a great opportunity to work with Dr. Mindy Stevens and her staff. Along with assisting Dr. Stevens with patients I also help Missy, the office manager, at the front desk. I look forward to coming to work every day. It is by far the best place to work.

I am a member of the American Dental Assisting Association and I volunteer yearly for Iowa Mission of Mercy. I have lived in the Sioux City area my whole life. I have a fiancee named Dexter and we are busy planning a wedding for fall of 2010. During my free time I am working on wedding plans or working parttime at Menards. I also enjoy cooking, playing with my dog Rascal, the outdoors, and shopping.

Hi. my name is Erin I am a registered dental hygienist. I graduated Homer High School in 1998, I then went on to pursue my dental hygiene degree at the University of South Dakota and graduated in 200l. Through my years as a hygienist I have gained valuable experience on working with patients of all ages. My goal is to make your dental experience as relaxing as possible and to teach you ways to improve your dental health.

As a dental hygienist at Sunnybrook Dental I bring valuable experience in treating conditions that range from gingivitis to periodotitis (gum disease). I look forward to working with each individual based on their needs.

I am a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. I have 2 daughters named Isabella and Natalie, and I have a twin sister. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters on our farm and shopping.
